Visiting the website
No cookies, no analytics, no tracking. cognision.eu does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
Server logs. When you load a page, our web server records technical data: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user agent. We use these logs only to run the site securely and to investigate errors or attacks. They are deleted automatically after 14 days. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Hosting. The website runs on a server in Frankfurt, Germany, provided by The Constant Company, LLC (Vultr), which processes the data on our behalf as a processor.
Fonts. Our pages load the Space Grotesk and JetBrains Mono fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). To deliver them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google may process this data outside the EU, including in the USA. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a consistent and readable design (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contacting us
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, company (optional), topic and message you enter. The form is delivered by Formspree, Inc. (USA), which passes the message to our mailbox. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you write.
We use this data only to answer your enquiry and, if we work together, to prepare and carry out the project. Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), otherwise our legitimate interest in replying to messages (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and any resulting business relationship, and longer only where accounting or tax law requires it.
Where providers are located outside the EU, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Our Facebook Page
We run a Facebook Page at facebook.com/cognision. When you visit or interact with it, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited processes your data under its own terms and privacy policy. For Page statistics ("Page Insights") Meta and we are joint controllers, as set out in Meta's Page Insights Controller Addendum. We only see aggregated statistics, not who you are.
We publish posts on our Page through a small app of our own, "CogniSion n8n". The app only manages our own Page. It has no other users, does not log you in with Facebook, and does not collect or store any data about you. If you nevertheless want us to delete any data connected to your interaction with our Page or this app, email hello@cognision.eu and we will handle it within 30 days.

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on legitimate interest, you can object at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@cognision.eu.
